Illustration Friday: Paradise 1 of 2

Is skimming along the water on a bright summers day.... with no worries or appointments or time constraints...,food in the locker, someone else at the helm, and with someone that loves you..... Guess that could be anywhere... but this is one view of it.... ! From my own archives.... another will come...

Medium... acrylic.

This is one of two pieces submitted for Illustration Friday this week... in distinctly different styles.

Janice, I think we're on the same wave length this week! Beautiful painting - fresh and lively.

Great sence of movement in this painting. Lovely.
While I don't personally like the water, your painting definately makes me see the appeal! Beautiful.

Beautiful Janice! I love the rich blues and the touch of yellow in the sail. Perfect. I'm right there with you!

I believe that lauren kate nailed it when she said, "Great sense of movement in this painting." This a beautifully composed and executed piece.

What an idyllic scene. What I wouldn't give to be on that boat today!

A lovely, fresh mood! Is this in Seattle? Reminds me of when I was out on the water there... Lovely scene!

Hi Janice, is this Sydney in the background?
Because Sydney has a needle-like building too.
Lovely painting!

Janice, this is gorgeous. Your ability to create a mood with acrylic is exceptional. It is so interesting to see a skyline so different from what I am used to seeing. This water has a life of its own, and the many hues on the sails and sky have great texture.
Great Job!
