illustration Friday Snap 2 of 2©

I wanted to execute a figure, with a touch of fun... thinking of snapping a 'persons' suspenders'.

This second piece was done with pencil crayons and photoshop. I actually had a full figure of a male mime off to the side.. but decided to simplify and focus more on the action.

Great perspective, although I would LOVE to see the male mime, being quite partial to them!

I like this one better than the alligator - it somehow reminds me of Toulouse Lautrec - beautiful and with a touch of humour at the same time.

I have to agree that it is better cropped (even though we don't know what the mime looked like). There is enough info to set the scene fine.

This is very cool Jan! Great movement & splashes of color and the suggestion of the male mime by cropping it is PERFECT.

I looked at some of your other work too, you have a unique perspective on things, I like that!

Really like the perspective and the curls. Also wanted to ask where I can get the long socks she wears from?

I love the action, and I love the energy, interesting how the sock design and that amazing hair enhance the feeling of movement. The idea is so creative. Very cool piece Janice!
