well for some one whos suppose to be on a break u sure are pumping out the work. 3 great pieces all in a diff style nice. hope ur dad is doing better and the other things are working themselves out for u. See ya when u get back.

I don't get to say this very often, but it's been said that "realism" is built of more "abstraction" than an expressionist could hope to find in a lifetime. That's the beauty of both isms for me and a conundrum as to why realism is too often looked down upon in the elitist, academic view. My guess is that it's professorial fear of being uncovered as one with no drawing or composition skills.
Now that I've got that off my chest, this is a beautiful painting.
