Spy 1of2: Spy©

Simplicity is the key here. I considered the spy... the way they fade in and out
of sight. Some of my lines also disappear in an effort to be a bit more unrestrained. Of course I could not resist a dash of colour. Please click on the image to see it larger and please feel free to leave comments. They are a way for me, to both grow and be encouraged.

I have another spy submission.. please have a look see. :)

Brilliant attitude in her pose, i love line drawings, they can say so much with so little, and this one speaks volums.Glad you didn't resist the red,it adds a nice touch of glamour and danger.

Love the way the linework only suggests the shape yet it still has a strong impact.

Very elegant. I would bring the specificity of marks that you use in this piece into your other works. I'm particularly thinking of the magnifying glass piece. There are a lot of superfluous marks there that muddy your idea. I can almost see where you stopped being specific and began making marks. Try to think as simply and specifically as you did the Red Shoe Spy piece; a work of much greater interest and elegance.

That being said, I really like the mag-glass piece. I can't help thinking of it being an ant's eye view ("is it warm or is it me?")
